Softwall Cleanroom Design

Modular Cleanrooms, Inc.’s line of portable Softwall cleanrooms come completely prefabricated for minimal on-site erection time, can be easily enlarged or reduce in size if your needs change and are entirely self-contained.

Our Econo-Tent Softwall frames are comprised of 2’x4’, 11GA, tubular steel components, with seams and joints fully welded and ground smooth. The Softwall fames are finished with a non-shedding, white, baked enamel (powder coat). The Econo-Tent Softwall Cleanroom support legs can be fitted with welded plates, adjustable leg levelers, or swivel/locking casters.

Standard Softwall vinyl wall panels are custom made to size utilizing 20mil clear, flexible vinyl and are attached to the frame with 3M Dual-Lock fasteners. In conjunction with our wall panels, Modular Cleanrooms, Inc. uses a 40mil clear vinyl strip door (strip curtain) for easy access in or out of the cleanroom. Additional panel materials such as anti-bacterial, static dissipative (ESD), low out-gassing UV Tinted and Opaque are also available.

Modular Cleanrooms, Inc.’s standard self-support ceiling grid is specifically designed for cleanroom applications to ensure a seal between the HEPA filters, lights, and ceiling tiles. The base cleanroom ceiling grid material is an extruded aluminum, finished with a white powder coat, and appears pre-gasketed. Installation of the cleanroom ceiling grid factors is simplified via clip assembly, requiring no certain tools, and is arranged in a grid-style pattern, which allows for a wide choice of module sizes. Special grid finishes, sizes, and gaskets are also available.
